I AM
NAVED
AHMED

An ad film director with a deep passion for storytelling that resonates. Over the past decade, I’ve carved a space in the advertising world by directing high-impact, emotionally charged films that stay with the viewer long after the screen fades to black.

My journey began with a curiosity about how stories could shape behaviour, inspire emotion, and elevate brands. I’m especially drawn to performance-driven narratives - those subtle, layered expressions that make characters feel real and relatable. Whether I’m directing a children’s commercial, a heartfelt social spot, a quirky brand film, or a sharp piece of humour-led advertising, my goal is always the same: make it honest, make it beautiful, and make it memorable.

Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to films that have gone on to win accolades at Cannes Lions, D & AD, Spikes Asia, Abbies and other prestigious international festivals – experiences that have sharpened my instincts for storytelling that transcends borders and cultures.

My debut film, “Ezee Hugs,” was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, and “The Confidant” - a tender, layered short - received international acclaim at several film festivals, including a Bronze at The Appies 2022 (Asia Pacific) for its emotional clarity and direction. That recognition affirmed my belief that stories, when told truthfully, can transcend format, length, and language.

I gravitate toward scripts that make me feel something - whether it’s a lump in the throat or an involuntary smile. I believe humour is just as human as heartbreak, and often, the two walk hand-in-hand.

When I’m not directing, you’ll find me traveling to new places with a camera in hand, chasing the kind of moments that remind me why I fell in love with storytelling in the first place.

I’m not here to sell stories - I’m here to help you make people feel something.
